ENDUROCADD® 3D Viewer Free Download
The ENDUROCADD® 3D viewer is available for download to view 3D wrl files generated by the ENDUROCADD® software.
Click on the ENDUROCADD 3D viewer file below to download and save onto your hard drive. Unzip the two files and install in a preferred location on your computer. A sample wrl file is also attached which can be viewed.
Instructions
Rotate, Pan and Zoom
Hold the left mouse button down and move the mouse to rotate the model;
Use the right click button on the mouse to pan the image;
Rotate the scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom in and out;
View
In the View Menu toolbar, the model can be viewed in ISO view, plan view, north elevation or south elevation.
The outline of the sections can be turned on or off in the View Menu toolbar, and the background can be set to black or white;
Clip Box
The Clip Box is a very handy way to see a section or part of the model.
To use the Clip Box tool, go to View -> Clip Box -> Create. This will create a yellow box with green circles in the each corner. Click on these circles and drag them to create the desired image that is to you want to see.
Click on View -> Clip Box -> Set. This will remove all items that are outside the clip box and just display items that are within the clip box. This can be rotated and zoomed as normal.
To remove the clip box, go to View -> Clip Box -> Remove.
Visibility Options
Visibility options allows the user to select which components are viewed. This is done by going to View -> Visibility options or hitting the <F8> key which brings up the menu below. The user can untick boxes to remove any items that are not to be displayed. Selecting only beams will ensure that only beams are shown. This can be useful to generate structural steel fabrication drawings.
Export 3D DXF
It is possible to export the model that is on the screen to a 3D DXF which can, in turn, be imported into Autocad®, Revit®, Sketchup® or any other 3D drawing package. This is done by going to File -> Export DXF.
if the Clip box is used, only the 3D image that has been clipped will be exported, while if certain visibility options are hidden only those items that are visible on screen will be exported to 3D DXF.
Measure
The model is fully scaled so accurate dimensions can be seen by using tools in the Measure toolbar.
